As you are aware we are purchasing the land for £2m with a deadline for funds to be transferred by 28.02.26. If we extend payment terms we will simply not secure the purchase of this land.
They are making a substantial investment and taking on all risk, they are not in a position to finance this for us also.
TPICA model is not to collect funds and keep in our bank account, we simply do not have the cash We need new members to finance the purchase of this land.
Membership
Email the full name of your parents to info@tpica.org and we will confirm
Membership provides you with peace of mind in the knowledge that you have a right to be buried in this cemetery/plot. It does not mean you have a specific assigned space in the cemetery.
Yes, membership is open to all regardless of age. We encourage existing TPICA member to consider this for long term peace of mind.
Yes, providing membership is open and it will be based on the rate at that time.
Yes, they are entitled to a refund based on what you have paid at the time of application.
No, your 2nd wife/partner is not covered, We are selling burial spots as member plus 1 spouse. The current model of TPICA is not sustainable for long term financial stability – our priority is to safeguard our cemeteries for the future.
They will be given 1st chance, however they have to adhere to the payment schedule, failure to adhere to the payment schedule will simply mean that space will be offered to someone else on the 16.01.26
There will be no leeway on payment dates under any circumstances.
Our process is transparent and equitable. It is down to you to ensure that you commit and transfer funds before the deadline.
We are a membership organisation, the children of our members have not had the chance to take up membership since 2012. It’s only fair that we give them first priority as they had rights to become members but membership was closed.
Yes, a full refund will be provided based on what you have paid when becoming a member.
You can cancel your membership and get a full refund, this refund is not retrospective after your death.
We do not expect this opportunity again for several years and when further burial spots become available it will be based on market rates at that time.
To maintain continuity with our current Rules & Regulations, members cannot sell or transfer ownership of burial rights to another.
Rules for children
All children will be covered under the members membership up to the age of 18. From the age of 18 they need to be a member in their own right provided membership is open
No. all adults over 18 require a membership.
This model is not sustainable for the long term stability of our cemeteries, girls in our community Work and our professionals perhaps more so than our boys.
Applications
Depending on how many burial spots we are over subscribed by, we do have an option to purchase an extra 1 acre of land for £1m.
As you can appreciate we do need to wait until we count the number of applications and types e.g.,single or double membership before we can make a decision on this.
If the appetite is there as a community and we secure membership fees we cannot see no reason why we cannot go for this option.
Unfortunately, we cannot do anything except decline this opportunity, the issue of our current lack of capacity for existing members is simply pushed ahead.
The Site
There is no guarantee – however the plan is to employ the services of professionals who were involved in Gardens of Peace planning application which has been successful. This is the best way to potentially minimise risk.
We are committed to a NDA agreement (Non-Disclosure Agreement) the location will be broadcasted via email notification to all successful applicants when the contract of sale is signed.
1600 burial spots in 1 acre of land, this is based on the 1st grave at a depth of 6feet and subsequent grave at a depth of 4feet
The projected cost of planning and infrastructure cost is borne by the partnership, this is a risk free project insofar as our members getting a full refund back if the planning process is unsuccessful.
